There’s something crazy in the air
Oh, what do I hear? Hope or despair.
Smiles feel like sarcasm
I’m inching close to a chasm.
There’s something crazy in the air
Someone is always stalked or stared.
Friends are doing obligations
My breath itself is suffocation.
There’s something crazy in the air
When people shy away from dares
Everyone is now ‘social’
Talking isn’t anymore crucial.
There’s something crazy in the air
When you lose someone you care
Swimming in the sea alone
It’s dangerous and unknown.
There’s something crazy in the air
When you no longer feel my hair .
You avert your eyes from mine
Our passion no longer stills time.
